Massive List of Russia-Related Stuff I’ve Been Reading

I have been reading so much Russia-related stuff since last Friday, when Chechnya (and therefore Russia) burst onto the national stage in this country due to the revelation that the Boston marathon bombers were Chechen.

This is an old article (2007) from The Economist: Russia under Putin.

Foreign Policy has a piece on Russia’s war in the North Caucasus – and a nice accompanying photo essay.

This is my favorite article I’ve read recently, about Sergei Ivanov’s return to power. I’m also working on a translation of an article relating to Mr. Ivanov, so keep an eye out for that.

I also have two interesting BBC articles that don’t really relate to Russia.

This one, about Iranians in Georgia, is really interesting. I never would have thought Georgia had a large Iranian diaspora.

And this one, about exploring Mars. Except the people who go presumably won’t be coming back.

I hope everyone had a good week. I know I did, since I finished my statistics coursework and received a good grade in the class.
